About the Role
Sea View Senior Living Community is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide care in a residents’ home and support the management team in order to ensure smooth and effective operation of the facility. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with a high level of attention to detail and care for others.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care and hygiene
- Assist residents with mobility, including getting around the apartment community, public areas, and other resources
- Assist residents with eating, drinking, and other activities of daily living
- Assist with socialization and entertainment
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Report any unusual incidents or unusual circumstances
- Act quickly and responsibly in situations where life or safety is at risk, or where there is an urgent need to do something that does not conform to local standards
Skills
- Proven experience as a caregiver
- Experience working with the elderly population
- Knowledge of basic first aid measures
- Willingness to adhere to health regulations
- Highest level of integrity and accountability
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Strong compassion and ability to handle herself privately and professionally well
- Reliable with a great attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills
