Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated GSRP (Great Start Readiness Program) Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This vital role involves guiding young learners through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that foster their growth and curiosity. As a GSRP Lead Teacher, you will create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes social-emotional development, literacy, and foundational skills essential for future success. Your leadership will inspire both children and fellow educators, ensuring a high-quality preschool experience aligned with state standards and best practices in early childhood education.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate early intervention strategies, literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles to support diverse learning styles.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management.
- Collaborate with families to communicate student progress, address individual needs, and promote child welfare through regular updates and parent engagement activities.
- Lead classroom activities focused on childhood development milestones, toddler care, and preschool readiness skills.
- Utilize standardized testing and assessment tools to monitor student progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining high standards of childcare, classroom management, and lesson planning.
- Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to ensure effective team collaboration and adherence to program policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or daycare environments.
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom management techniques.
- Knowledge of special education needs, early intervention methods, and childhood development principles.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods, literacy education strategies, math instruction, and physical education for young learners.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, staff, and community partners.
- Prior experience in private schools or daycare centers is preferred; preschool experience is essential.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
