Purpose: We are seeking a Functional Business Analyst to support and improve the business systems that run our manufacturing operations. This role bridges the gap between end users and technology, translating business needs into clear requirements and working across our ERP, CRM, and document management platforms to keep the business running smoothly. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can gather requirements, write user stories, support end users, and juggle multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions

Partner with end users and business stakeholders across departments to understand pain points, gather requirements, and translate them into clear user stories and functional specifications.

Identify opportunities for process improvement or system enhancement within Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, Microsoft Dynamics CE (CRM), and other business applications.

Facilitate discussions between end users and developers/vendors to ensure requirements are well understood and solutions meet the business need.

Serve as a point of escalation for end user support tickets related to AX 2012, Dynamics CE, Revver, and other supported SaaS applications, providing timely troubleshooting and resolution.

Provide user training and ongoing support to ensure smooth adoption of new functionality, system changes, and process updates.

Work with 3rd party consultants, software vendors, and IT teams as needed to resolve more complex issues.

Create and maintain clear, current documentation for business processes, system configurations, customizations, and user procedures.

Maintain requirements, user stories, and test case documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Support document management practices using Revver, ensuring records are organized, accessible, and compliant with retention requirements.

Work on multiple concurrent projects, balancing priorities and deadlines across system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and integrations.

Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and migrations across ERP, CRM, and other SaaS platforms.

Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and third-party service providers throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Experience/Knowledge

Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).

3+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst; 5+ years strongly preferred.

Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

Hands-on experience supporting an ERP system; Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 experience is a plus, but experience with other major ERPs (NetSuite, Epicor, SAP, Syteline) will be considered.

Experience supporting a CRM platform; Microsoft Dynamics CE (CRM) experience is a plus.

Experience working with SaaS/cloud-based business applications.

Experience with document management platforms; Revver experience is a plus.

Experience writing user stories, functional/business requirements, and supporting documentation.

Previous experience with a publicly held company operating under Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) is a plus, including familiarity with annual audits and IT General Controls (ITGCs).

Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS and/or Power BI is a plus.
