Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in retail stores or on the road to promote products and services, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and personalized service.
- Conduct route driving to visit clients, deliver products, or showcase new offerings while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities by recommending complementary products or upgrades.
- Manage pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
- Perform heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when handling merchandise or equipment during merchandising or transportation tasks.
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and route details for efficient follow-up and reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail store environments or customer service roles is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience or commercial truck driving certification is highly desirable.
- Strong math skills for pricing calculations, basic accounting, and sales data analysis.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial driving and transportation safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, negotiation, and team collaboration.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during merchandising or transportation tasks.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage routes, schedules, and customer information effectively.
- Experience in automobile transportation or commercial driving is a plus but not mandatory.
