Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various CNC machines and a strong understanding of machining processes. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other CNC equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for machining operations.
- Utilize CAD software for programming and designing parts as needed.
- Perform CNC programming and CAM programming for various machining tasks.
- Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient production flow.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper packaging of finished products.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility with a focus on CNC operations.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLC), GD&T principles, and various machining tools including press brake machines and stamping presses.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes.
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is preferred.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in an assembly line environment while adhering to quality control standards.
- Previous factory or warehouse experience is an asset; familiarity with hand tools is also beneficial.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
