Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekend Rotation: Every 7th weekend
Holiday Rotation: 1 holiday per year

Position Summary: The Hospice Aide (STNA) provides hands-on personal care and emotional support to patients in their homes. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Hospice Aide assists with daily living activities, mobility, vital signs, and documentation while supporting comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, hygiene, grooming, and comfort measures per care plans

Assist with mobility, transfers, exercises, and safety measures

Support patients and families with care techniques and education

Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition to the RN

Maintain a safe, clean environment; assist with meals and nutrition

Follow infection control procedures and respond to emergencies

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and assist with procedures as needed

Maintain clinical competency and adhere to agency policies

Perform additional duties to support patient care and operations

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Active STNA license in good standing

Minimum 1 year of personal care experience
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to patient homes

Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and customer service skills

Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and provide compassionate care

Physical ability to lift up to 25lbs and assist with patient mobility and positioning
