We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and construction drawings to accurately execute projects.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and power tools to diagnose faults quickly and effectively.
- Perform maintenance on low voltage and high voltage systems to ensure safety and operational reliability.
- Collaborate with construction teams to support renovation projects, framing carpentry tasks, and general handyman duties as needed.
- Follow NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety protocols rigorously during all work activities.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment on construction sites.
Skills
- Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical installations.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks.
- Ability to work confidently with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in diverse environments.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, along with power tools for installation and repair tasks.
- Construction site experience with a focus on renovation projects or new builds.
- Knowledge of NEC regulations, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong handyman skills including frame carpentry or general construction knowledge is a plus.
- Experience reading schematics and working with schematics-based troubleshooting methods.
- Ability to perform low voltage wiring tasks alongside industrial electrician responsibilities.
