Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Precision Construction Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting heavy equipment operations, troubleshooting complex machinery, and ensuring optimal performance of construction technology systems. Your expertise will help our clients achieve precise results while maintaining safety and efficiency on job sites.
Duties
- Assist with the setup, calibration, and maintenance of heavy construction equipment including excavators, dozers, motorgraders, and other industrial machinery.
- Interpret schematics, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manuals, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Perform repairs and troubleshooting on hydraulic systems, and electrical components of heavy equipment.
- Conduct machine diagnostics using specialized tools and software to identify mechanical or electronic faults.
- Support fabrication processes for custom equipment modifications or repairs as needed.
- Operate heavy machinery for testing or training purposes to ensure proper functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating technical information clearly and assisting clients with equipment maintenance or repair needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with dealership environments or heavy machinery service support.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across farm machinery, industrial equipment, and power tools.
- Hands-on experience with excavators, dozers, motorgraders and other heavy construction equipment.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals; familiarity with OEM specifications is preferred.
- Skilled in welding, soldering, hydraulic repairs, and electrical diagnostics.
- Experience with electrical diagnostics and vehicle maintenance; familiarity with machine diagnostics tools is a plus.
- Capable of heavy lifting safely and efficiently; comfortable using various hand tools and power tools for repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
