Shipping & Receiving Associate
Location: Florham Park, NJ

Schedule: Monday-Friday 1 st shift | Standard Business Hours (40 hours/week)
Pay Range: $25/hour
About the Opportunity
A leading consumer packaged goods (CPG) organization is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support day-to-day shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This individual will play a key role in ensuring products are processed, documented, and shipped accurately while maintaining strong communication with vendors, suppliers, and delivery personnel.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and has experience working with shipping systems and inventory tracking processes.Key Responsibilities
- Process inbound and outbound shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare, pack, count, and verify products for shipment.
- Maintain detailed shipment records and inventory documentation.
- Print shipping labels, postage, and related shipping documentation.
- Ensure compliance with shipping and quality standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and delivery personnel regarding shipments and delivery status.
- Track and manage products across multiple business divisions.
- Support inventory control efforts and maintain organized records.
- Utilize shipping software and internal systems to monitor shipments.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current on shipping technologies and operational processes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics support preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office,
- Experience using shipping platforms such as:
- FedEx ShipManager
- Pitney Bowes PitneyTrack
- UPS Shipping Systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
- Experience maintaining inventory and shipment records.
- Familiarity with quality control processes.
