The Business Services site supervisor will oversee custodial operations at GoMart Ballpark in Charleston, West Virginia, in support of the Charleston Dirty Birds baseball franchise. The site supervisor will work under the general direction of the Operations Manager overseeing the performance of all custodial maintenance tasks, grounds upkeep, and all required reports.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Provides day-to-day leadership, direction, and oversight to janitorial staff, ensuring that tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.

Complete and submit all required documentation to the Operations Manager accurately and on time, including employee timesheets, attendance reports, and other administrative paperwork as assigned.

Foster and maintain a positive working relationship with the Dirty Birds organization by consistently ensuring the delivery of exceptional cleaning services, thus creating a welcoming environment for guests.

Train and instruct employees in the procedures necessary to deliver the services required on the contracted scope of work.

Regularly monitors individual employee’s productivity and provides feedback to employees and recommendations for remediation to the Operations Manager.

Instructs employees in the proper/safe use of all custodial products and equipment to ensure procedures are followed.

Assist with maintenance of inventory and equipment and supplies assigned to work crews and contract sites.

Ensures that the organization's property and equipment is properly maintained and accounted.

Trains employees in emergency procedures for fire, accident, crime, malfunctioning of systems and adverse weather conditions, including Safety Committee recommendations.

Maintains organization's department product list and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

Ensures that all reports are properly completed and submitted by required due date.

Learn and implement that specifications of assigned contract/worksite.

Attend all required staff trainings.

Perform work of employees that results in an employee’s absence.

High School Diploma or GED preferred with one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior managerial/supervisory experience required.

Must have patience and understanding necessary to work with individuals with disabilities.

Working knowledge of OSHA required.

Must have reliable transportation.

Valid driver's license with safe driving history required.

Must have working cell phone in order to make and receive work-related calls. Cell phone plan reimbursement will apply.

Beginning rate of pay is $16.00 per hour.
