American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position in Wichita, KS, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a valid KS or compact RN license.

Cardiothoracic ICU setting within an acute care hospital in Wichita, KS

Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30

13-week contract

Every other weekend required
-
No on-call responsibilities

EMR: Cerner OneChart
-
Active KS or compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

BLS certification required (AHA-issued)

ACLS certification preferred (AHA-issued)

CVICU or cardiothoracic ICU experience strongly preferred

Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Driver's License, 2 professional references, and copies of certifications required for consideration

Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration

Provides critical care nursing to cardiovascular and cardiothoracic ICU patients

Ceil blue scrubs required

Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate

CPI/MOAB High-Risk training (online portion) must be completed prior to start; on-site portion is completed during orientation

NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
