Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Utility Foreman to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will support various construction activities by performing essential utility tasks that ensure project efficiency, safety, and quality. Your expertise will help streamline operations on-site, assist with infrastructure setup, and contribute to the successful completion of complex projects. Duties
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of utility systems including pipelines, schematics, and electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters and construction management software.
- Manage project timelines, labor, and site coordination to ensure all work meets quality standards and project timelines
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate installation and repairs.
- Effectively communicate clearly with Project Manager, Inspectors, and Crew Members
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify compliance with safety standards such as OSHA and project specifications.
- Supervise and coordinate with subcontractors and team members on-site to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
- Assist in managing contracts, tracking project progress, and maintaining detailed documentation for construction management records.
- Use construction estimating techniques to support budgeting efforts while adhering to safety protocols and construction site regulations.
- Operate equipment as needed, such as excavators loaders, trenchers, etc....
Experience
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience within the Utility, Construction, Excavation, or related field, two (2) years in a supervisory position.
- Prior supervisory or supervising experience in a construction environment is highly desirable.
- You are willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: Climb and/or work in elevated areas, stand and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to seventy-five (75) lbs., and perform work that involves repetitive motion and lifting
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety.
- Experience in project scheduling, budgeting, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
