Parking Guidance Systems is seeking a detail-oriented CAD and Submittals Coordinator who can create and maintain accurate technical drawings, develop garage and camera layouts, prepare professional client submittal packages, and coordinate design documentation across multiple active projects.
Role Overview
The CAD and Submittals Coordinator is responsible for creating, revising, and maintaining CAD, Revit, and Bluebeam drawings for parking garages and related facilities. This role develops equipment and camera layouts, reviews project plans and specifications, prepares client submittal packages, and maintains organized project drawing and documentation records. Working closely with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, and Installation, this person will update drawings based on project requirements and client feedback, support project design deliverables, and ensure all drawings and submittals meet company standards and client requirements. The ideal candidate is organized, technically minded, and able to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Technically Proficient -Uses CAD, Revit, and Bluebeam tools to create clear garage, camera, equipment, and system layouts.
Collaborative Coordinator-Works effectively across departments to resolve design questions and keep project documentation current.
Key Responsibilities
Drawing Development & Layouts
● Create, revise, and maintain CAD, Revit, and Bluebeam drawings for parking garages and related facilities.
● Develop layouts showing camera locations, equipment placement, coverage areas, and system components.
● Assist with mapping parking garages and identifying appropriate equipment locations
● Review architectural plans, site drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Submittals & Document Control
● Prepare accurate and professional client submittal packages.
● Update drawings and documentation based on client feedback or project changes.
● Maintain organized project files, drawings, revisions, and supporting documentation.
● Ensure all drawings and submittals meet company standards and client requirements.
Cross-Functional Project Support
● Coordinate with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, and Installation teams.
● Support the Design Team and Operations with project design deliverables, drafting, and additional project documentation as needed.
Qualifications
Required
● Experience with Revit modeling, Bluebeam Studio, and AutoCAD or similar CAD software. ● Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical, or construction drawings.
● Strong attention to detail, organization, and deadline management across multiple projects.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, or Google Workplace Documents and Sheets.
Preferred
● Experience preparing construction or technical submittals.
● Experience with parking systems, camera systems, access control, or low-voltage systems.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
