The office is currently seeking an Orthodontic Assistant / Front Office Coordinator to join the team in a unique 50/50 blended role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both patient care and administrative responsibilities, allowing them to contribute to the clinical and front office operations of a busy orthodontic practice.

Schedule
- Monday: Administrative Day
- Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday–Sunday: Off
Responsibilities
Clinical / Orthodontic Assisting (50%)
- Assist the orthodontist with patient care and clinical procedures
- Seat patients, take records, photos, digital scans, and radiographs as needed
- Assist with placing and removing orthodontic appliances under doctor supervision
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain sterilization protocols
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations
- Ensure patient charts and clinical documentation are accurate and up to date
Front Office / Administrative (50%)
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage daily patient flow
- Coordinate new patient visits, treatment appointments, and follow-up care
- Check patients in and out while providing exceptional customer service
- Verify patient information and maintain accurate records within the practice management system
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments, treatment timelines, and office policies
- Support the team with administrative projects and daily office operations as needed
Qualifications
- Previous orthodontic assisting experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in both clinical and administrative settings
- Team-oriented, organized, and dependable
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:
- Dental assisting: 1 year (Required)
