Key qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC and Washington State SLP license
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
- OSPI fingerprint clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience (or strong interest) in school-based settings across K-12
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload that may range from 48-60 students
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to positive school culture
- Commit to full-time, in-person engagement, with a 7.5-hour workday and 37.5-hour workweek
