Overview
We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Facilities Director to lead and oversee all aspects of facilities management within our organization. This pivotal role involves ensuring the safety, efficiency, and operational excellence of our physical infrastructure, including manufacturing plants, office spaces, and maintenance systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong management background, technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, and a passion for creating a safe and productive environment. As Facilities Director, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage maintenance teams, and collaborate across departments to uphold high standards of facility performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all facilities management activities to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Oversee maintenance operations including industrial maintenance, HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), and mechanical equipment.
- Manage maintenance management systems (CMMS) to schedule preventive maintenance, track work orders, and optimize resource allocation.
- Supervise a team of technicians and maintenance personnel, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement facility safety protocols in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Review schematics, technical drawings, and control system diagrams related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation equipment.
- Coordinate projects related to facility upgrades or new installations with project management teams.
- Monitor facility infrastructure using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting and ensure adherence to safety standards for high voltage work.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support production needs while minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance roles with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with electrical experience including working with high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and control systems such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for scheduling and tracking maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, industrial electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and safety standards.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership capabilities with a focus on supervising teams effectively while fostering a safety-first culture.
- Proficiency in English communication skills for clear documentation and team collaboration.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
