Position: Direct Care Worker
Responsibilities include:
- Providing personal care
- Assisting with safe lifting and mobility for wheelchair users
- Conducting hourly bed checks
- Monitoring clients throughout the shift
- Performing basic housekeeping duties
Schedule:
40 hours per week- rotating schedule, every other weekend off. Hours are 3pm-11pm
Week1: Sun, Mon,Tue,Thur, Fri (Wed and Sat- off)
Week 2: Mon,Tue,Wed,Thur, Sat (Sun and Fri off)
Shift Time: Multiple
Hours: 30 - 40 hours per week

Requirements:
- Must be dependable with a good work ethic.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and safe driving record.
- Must have a valid drivers license and state minimum auto insurance.
- Background checks will be performed on all applicants.
- Must have full knowledge of wheelchair
- Must be able to provide personal care which includes bathing when needed.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience working with those with developmental Disabilities
About Our Company (A Caring Heart Case Management, Inc):
- Our company provides direct care services to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
- We provide a variety of different services including day programs, group homes, community services, and more!
- Our direct care staff provides habilitative services aimed at providing care and guidance to our clients to help them learn, retain, and improve their skills!
About This Position (Habilitation Technician):
- All trainings will be provided by A Caring Heart.
- Habilitative services provide instruction to individuals to help them learn, retain, or improve skills for maximal functioning.
- Skill building focuses on self-care, household maintenance, social and communication skills, money management, social and community inclusion, mobility employment, and self-regulation.
- Services will be provided in the home, community and day program.
