American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position requiring an active Michigan RN license and 2+ years of ED experience.

Work in the Emergency Room department of a hospital setting
-
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
-
12-hour shifts
-
Required to work every third weekend, with weekend-only scheduling potentially available
-
No on-call responsibilities

Active Michigan RN license required at time of consideration

Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required

Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ENPC accepted in place of PALS)

Coordinate total nursing care for patients including patient and family education
-
Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other patient care team members

Maintain professional nursing practice standards in the clinical setting
-
Uphold ethical and professional standards as defined by the ANA Code for Nurses and Michigan Public Health Code

Adhere to regulatory standards including AOA, HCFA Conditions of Participation, and MIOSHA

Requests for time off limited to no more than 5 days
