Member Duties : The key objectives of the VISTA assignments and activities the full time VISTA will perform may include: Fundraising (events, direct mail campaigns, grant research, writing and management) Volunteer recruitment (recruitment strategies, procedures, screening, training and record keeping) Marketing (community outreach, creating marketing materials, developing strategies, social media marketing) Coalition-building (establishing new partnerships and contacts, maintaining existing community partnerships). The VISTAs will also be going into rural communities affected by the flash flooding in 2026. Many of which are with limited access to water and other supplies needed. The VISTAs will coordinate food and water distribution and cleaning supplies, batteries, and clothing.
