Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Traffic Clerk to join our logistics and transportation team. In this role, you will manage follow‑ups on loads, deliveries, arrivals, and system reporting. This position ensures full visibility of the operation by maintaining constant communication with carrier dispatchers and warehouse personnel, guaranteeing that every step of the process is reported on time to our system and customers.
Core Responsibilities
- Load & Delivery Follow-Up
- Monitor all active loads from assignment to final delivery
- Conduct follow‑ups directly with carrier dispatch teams to confirm departures, current status, ETAs, and any routing issues.
- Ensure all arrivals and deliveries are reported on time in our internal system and to customers.
Arrival & Warehouse Coordination
- Verify on‑time arrivals at warehouse vendors and customer facilities.
- Communicate with warehouse employees to confirm load reception, sealing, documentation, and any discrepancies.
- Report delays, incidents, or missing documents immediately.
Communication Hub
- Act as the main point of contact between carrier dispatchers, warehouse teams, and internal operations
- Resolve schedule conflicts, missing paperwork, or routing issues quickly and professionally.
- Maintain clear communication through email, WhatsApp, and system updates.
Data Tracking & System Reporting
- Accurately input shipment details, BOLs, PODs, seal confirmations, and inventory logs into the system.
- Ensure every step of the load process is documented in real time for full visibility.
- Maintain organized records for audits, customer reporting, and monthly performance reviews.
Key Requirements
- Proficiency with dispatch software and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Accurate data entry.
- Strong multi‑tasking, problem‑solving and verbal communication skills.
- High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and urgency in follow‑up.
- Prior experience in logistics, dispatch, warehouse coordination and office administration preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with time‑sensitive tasks and multiple stakeholders.
Part-time schedule: 4 days per week, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (weekend availability required; weekends are part of the regular work schedule).
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
