IDR is seeking a Critical Operations Engineer II to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Orlando, FL. Position Overview for the Critical Operations Engineer II:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot large commercial and industrial systems including chilled water systems, HVAC equipment, VFDs, pumps, and electrical distribution.

Diagnose and repair critical systems such as generators, switchgear, UPS, and fiber cabling infrastructure.

Lead and execute fiber and copper cabling projects, ensuring industry standards and safety protocols are met.

Use trending, analysis, and integrated monitoring systems to track system performance and troubleshoot issues effectively.

Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills within a team environment to support facility operations.
Requirements for the Critical Operations Engineer II:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting large commercial and industrial systems.

Proven expertise in fiber optics/cabling infrastructure and troubleshooting IT hardware, servers, and network switches.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including proficiency with Microsoft Suite.

Comprehensive understanding of electrical and mechanical systems used in facilities and data center environments.

Expert knowledge of NEC, NFPA codes, OSHA standards, and industry best practices for safety and compliance.
