Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machinist with CAD/CAM programming experience to join our Fabrication Team. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts across a variety of projects and industries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and enjoys collaborating in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines
- Create and modify CAD models and CAM toolpaths to support production and prototyping
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies
- Perform first-article inspections and ensure parts meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to improve efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Experience
- Experience as a Machinist with hands-on CNC machining
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360, Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM, or similar)
- Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Experience with tight tolerances and precision components
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 3-, 4-, or 5-axis CNC machines
- Background in aerospace, defense, medical, or high-precision manufacturing
- Experience with additive manufacturing or hybrid workflows
- Familiarity with continuous improvement or lean manufacturing practices

Pay: $33.00 - $42.00 per hour
