Role Overview We are looking for reliable and skilled Line Cooks to join our team. Responsibility include, though not limited to: preparing ingredients, operating standard kitchen equipment, cooking meals to recipe standards, and plating dishes accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation: Chop vegetables, butcher meat, and prep ingredients before and during service.
- Execution: Cook and plate food to order quickly, ensuring consistent quality, aesthetic and flavor.
- Sanitation: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized prep station, complying strictly with food safety standards.
- Teamwork: Communicate clearly with the Lead Cook, expediters, and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Inventory: Help with daily inventory checks, product rotation and stocking
Qualifications & Requirements
- [1-2] years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong, safe knife skills
- Strict adherence to overall sanitation and safety
- Knowledge of various cooking methods (sautéing, grilling, frying, etc.).
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [e.g., 50 pounds].
- Passion for food, a strong work ethic, and ability to keep a cool head under pressure.
