Responsibilities
An RN picking up shifts through Elite Medical Staffing at a skilled nursing facility may be expected to:
- Assess resident health status and identify changes requiring clinical intervention
- Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans
- Monitor resident outcomes and communicate changes to physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Perform skilled nursing procedures within scope of practice and facility guidelines
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and resident responses in the medical record
- Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and other care team members as appropriate
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
- Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in skilled nursing
- Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
- Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
- Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
Credentials Required
- Active and unencumbered AR RN License or Compact RN License
- Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
- CPR/BLS
- Tuberculosis (TB) Test
- Flu Vaccine (during Flu season)
- Resume
- Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
