Title: Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants
Location: Atlanta, GA 30076 (North Atlanta)
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 + Bonus
We are a leading heavy civil and environmental construction company employing approximately 1,000 people across the Southeast. Our Atlanta office specializes in water and wastewater treatment plant construction, pump stations, and related infrastructure. Clients include municipalities, utilities, and industrial organizations seeking reliable solutions for clean water and environmental compliance. As a Project Manager, you will oversee water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence.
What You Will Be Doing

Lead all phases of water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery

Oversee compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality requirements

Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders

Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, cost control, and operational efficiency
What You Need for This Position

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred

Candidates must have direct project management experience in water/wastewater treatment plant construction and be willing to relocate to the greater Atlanta area (commuting arrangements will not be considered)

5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil or treatment plant construction

Strong knowledge of treatment plant processes, pump stations, and related mechanical systems

Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
