Fruh Packaging Inc is offering an exciting opportunity to be part of the growth of an established medical device contract packaging company as we launched our first facility outside of Switzerland.
We are seeking versatile team members who are eager and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities. Motivation, initiative, and a strong sense of teamwork are essential for making a meaningful contribution to the successful start-up of our operations. After comprehensive training, you will be responsible for various aspects of production, including incoming inspection, label generation, rinsing and cleaning, packaging and labeling, preparing shipments, meeting production schedules, completing batch records, performing quality checks, inventory control, and maintaining cleanliness in work areas.
Operator duties and responsibilities:
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain workflow by adhering to process steps, setting processing variables, monitoring control points, and promoting cooperation within and between work areas
- Ensure production schedules are met and resolve issues promptly
- Uphold quality and safety standards according to established guidelines
- Complete accurate documentation for batch records and inventory management
- Handle products in compliance with cGMP, ISO, and QMS requirements
- Access work instructions and SOPs via the online Quality Management System (QMS)
- Complete required training for products and procedures within specified timeframes
- Operate general production equipment such as counting machines, balances, shrink wrappers, banding, and stretch wrapping devices
- Maintain workplace safety in accordance with OSHA regulations and company training
- Assist with cleaning production areas, including safe handling of chemicals (e.g., isopropyl alcohol, solvents, detergents)
- Perform material transactions and support material control/inventory management using the ERP system
- Participate in required company meetings
- Understand customer needs and core business markets served by the company
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience working in a regulated environment (Pharma / Medtec experience)
- Ability to work in a regulated environment while wearing required protective clothing
- Capable of sitting and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English
- Valid work permit

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
