Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. Duties
- Oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Manage and supervise on-site teams, including crew management, task delegation, and performance monitoring to maintain high productivity levels.
- Review construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other tools to develop schedules, track progress, and control project budgets.
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Lead quality control efforts by inspecting work for compliance with design specifications and safety standards; address any deficiencies promptly.
- Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders through managerial communication practices; provide clear updates on project status.
- Supervise the interpretation of technical drawings and blueprints; ensure proper implementation during construction phases.
- Conduct construction safety management activities including toolbox talks, incident investigations, and safety audits in accordance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical and Dialysis office construction with a strong background in supervising projects.
- Extensive knowledge of OSHPD Code, plumbing and electrical requirements
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling techniques and tools; experience managing project timelines effectively.
- Excellent crew management skills with prior supervising experience on active construction sites.
- Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and OSHA compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Effective managerial communication skills; capable of managing teams in a fast-paced environment while fostering collaboration.
- Construction site experience in commercial or infrastructure projects is highly preferred; familiarity with pipeline projects is a plus.
