Remote — Denver Metro Preferred
$23–$26 per hour | 15–20 hours per week
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and proactive administrative assistant to support two growing, locally owned service businesses: an electrical contracting business and a seamless gutter company.
This is a part-time, primarily remote position. Applicants located in the Denver metro area are preferred because the role may eventually include occasional local errands, paperwork exchanges, or in-person assistance. Most work can currently be completed from home.
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer and return customer calls, texts, and emails
- Schedule estimates, installations, service calls, and follow-ups
- Maintain customer and lead information in spreadsheets or CRM systems
- Prepare and send estimates, invoices, receipts, and follow-up messages
- Follow up with potential customers who have not yet scheduled
- Organize job documents, photos, receipts, and customer records
- Track unpaid invoices and send professional payment reminders
- Enter basic job and expense information into QuickBooks
- Assist with permit paperwork, registrations, and vendor documents
- Request reviews from completed customers
- Help manage Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Drive, and business spreadsheets
- Keep separate and accurate records for both businesses
- Complete other administrative and organizational tasks as needed
Ideal Candidate
- Extremely organized and dependable
- Communicates professionally by phone, email, and text
- Comfortable speaking directly with homeowners and contractors
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Follows through and confirms when tasks are completed
- Comfortable learning new systems and procedures
- Strong attention to spelling, dates, customer information, and numbers
- Experienced with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Experience with QuickBooks, construction, home services, scheduling, or customer service is strongly preferred
Schedule
Approximately 15–20 hours per week to start, primarily Monday through Friday during regular business hours. The schedule can have some flexibility, but the assistant must be consistently available during agreed-upon working hours.
The position may grow in hours and responsibility as the businesses grow.
Compensation
$23–$26 per hour, depending on relevant experience.
This is a part-time employee position with an initial 60-day introductory period.
