A pizza dough roller prepares and maintains fresh dough for pizza making. A pizza dough rollers primary responsibility is mixing and rolling out dough following specific recipes and maintaining fresh dough inventory based on estimated daily usage this involves mixing dough according to recipes, rolling it out, and keeping it fresh and available for use. They may also help with general crew duties like preparing pizzas, serving customers, and cleaning to guarantee company standards are maintained and consistently comply with all policies and procedures to ensure cleanliness, and health and safety standards.
Responsibilities:

Maintain inventory levels of fresh dough on a daily basis based on estimated daily usage estimates, ensuring a consistent supply.

Properly maintain and clean dough rolling area and equipment.

Able to perform strenuous dough kneading movements, and performing repetitive structured tasks with hands, wrists and arms.

Mixing dough according to specific recipes, ensuring proper mixing techniques and ingredient ratios.

Using a dough roller or sheeter to flatten and shape dough into desired sizes and thicknesses for pizza bases.

Maintaining cleanliness of the dough rolling area and equipment, including washing and sanitizing utensils and machinery.

May assist with other crew members’ duties, including taking customer orders, preparing toppings, and cleaning up the restaurant.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

High School Diploma – GED minimum required.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Food Handlers, TABC Certification required.

Employees must be capable of following recipes and performing repetitive, structured tasks.

Experience preferred but not required.

Prior experience in food service or customer service is a plus.

Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact with customers and team members.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 pounds.
