Shift Leads needed for Chula Vista 3 days/week, Friday to Sunday! We’re looking for an energetic and reliable Shift Lead to join our team and help keep our restaurant running smoothly during busy hours. As a Shift Lead, you’ll oversee daily operations, support staff, and ensure our guests enjoy a fantastic dining experience. If you’re passionate about food, hospitality, and leading a team, this is the perfect role for you!
<Responsibilities>
- Supervise shift operations, ensuring smooth service flow from food prep to customer service.
- Assist with food preparation and cooking to maintain quality standards.
- Able to perform closing shift responsibilities
- Train and mentor team members to uphold restaurant standards in food safety, customer service, and efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock control, and report shortages or issues promptly.
- Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a clean, safe environment for staff and guests.
- Support staff during peak times by supervising tasks like food production, serving, and kitchen management.
<Requirements>
- Must have an active Food Handler's Card and Alcohol and Beverage Certification
- Proven experience in food service supervisory roles within quick service or fast food restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop team members.
- Background in hospitality management or restaurant operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic budgeting tasks.
