Preferred Experience:
- Competency in Peripheral IV starts/maintenance and IV Infusion Therapy
- Experience with accessing ports and PICC lines
Job Requirements include:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the US
- Current and unrestricted RN license in California
- A Bachelor of Science in nursing or an associate’s degree in nursing and have graduated from an accredited and approved nursing program
- At least 1 year of experience as an RN
- Liability Insurance (NSO)
- Current CA Driver’s License
- Reliable car and valid auto insurance
- Clean background and criminal record and must successfully pass drug test
- Current CPR/BLS
- Current TB (within the past 6 months)
- Current Physical (within the past 6 months)
- Competency in finding patient’s vein and starting peripheral IVs
- Computer Proficiency for documentation
Responsibilities include:
- Pay attention to details. Use excellent nursing skills to observe, interpret and monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes, acting as the patient advocate
- Being able to function calmly under pressure
- Deliver direct skilled client care in an open and positive manner and with a passionate heart
- Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
- Communications Skills: Discuss health care with patients and listen to their concerns
- Provide accurate and timely charting and documentation
