We are searching for a Quality Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS). This role ensures compliance with customer, regulatory, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements while driving operational excellence, reducing defects, improving customer satisfaction, and managing warranty performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001:2015
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologies
- Oversee inspection processes for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods
- Manage nonconforming materials, corrective actions (CAPA), and customer complaints
- Manage the warranty process, including claim review, root cause analysis, cost tracking, and implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, drawings, and contract requirements
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards and resolve supplier quality issues
- Lead internal and external audits, including customer and certification audits
- Develop and track quality KPIs (PPM, scrap rate, rework, warranty claims/costs, audit findings) and drive corrective actions
- Partner with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to improve product quality and process capability
- Review purchase orders and engineering documentation to ensure proper quality requirements
- Provide leadership, training, and development for quality team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards and audit processes
- Experience with ERP systems (Plex preferred)
Preferred Skills and Certifications:
- Experience with quality tools: FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, 8D, 5 Whys
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
