Funky Fries is looking for energetic, friendly, and dependable team members to join our front counter crew.
As a Front Counter Team Member, you’ll be one of the main faces of the restaurant. You’ll be greeting customers, taking orders, handling payments, helping package food, keeping the front area clean, and jumping in wherever needed during busy shifts. This is a great role for someone who likes working with people, stays calm in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to learn.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional way
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Use the POS system to accurately enter orders and process payments
- Help package and hand out orders correctly
- Keep counters, dining areas, and workstations clean and stocked
- Restock napkins, utensils, condiments, and other front counter supplies
- Help keep service moving during busy rushes
- Answer basic customer questions and communicate clearly with the team
- Assist with cleaning, organizing, and other day-to-day tasks as needed
- Follow food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
- Help create a welcoming, upbeat experience for every customer

Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to reliably commute to El Cajon, CA 92020
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
What to Expect in This Role
- You’ll be on your feet for most of your shift
- Some/ most shifts will be fast-paced and busy
- You’ll be expected to help with more than just the register
- You’ll work closely with a team and be expected to jump in when needed
- Training will be provided, so experience is not required, but a strong attitude and willingness to learn are important

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
