Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker/Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling products, operating manufacturing equipment, and ensuring that production processes adhere to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess factory experience, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documents. Duties
- Assemble components accurately using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to transport materials within the manufacturing facility.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturing protocols.
- Interpret production documents, work orders, and technical drawings to facilitate precise assembly processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to safety protocol standards in the production environment.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and implementing lean manufacturing practices.
- Handle manual lifting of heavy materials or components safely while following proper ergonomic procedures.
- Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet specified tolerances.
- Support inventory management by managing stock levels, recording material usage, and assisting with warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a strong understanding of assembly line operations.
- Mechanical knowledge coupled with experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and process instructions accurately.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar warehouse equipment is preferred; forklift certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocol requirements.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in assembly tasks and documentation.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating within diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
