Insurance Sales Agent – Auto, Home & Commercial Insurance

In this role, you'll specialize in Auto, Home, and Commercial Insurance, working with individuals, families, and business owners to identify their insurance needs and provide customized coverage solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on developing new business while delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new clients through networking, referrals, community involvement, and outbound sales activities.
- Generate new business by selling Auto, Homeowners, Renters, Umbrella, and Commercial insurance policies.
- Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews to identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Prepare and present accurate insurance quotes while educating clients on available coverage options.
- Cross-sell and round out accounts by identifying additional insurance needs.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients through outstanding customer service and regular policy reviews.
- Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, billing questions, and claims guidance.
- Maintain accurate client records and process applications using agency management and CRM systems.
- Stay current on insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry changes.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals while contributing to overall agency growth.
Qualifications
- Insurance sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Active Alabama Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred (or willingness to obtain one promptly). Company will cover education expenses for licensing.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Comfortable prospecting, networking, and generating new business.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with computers and customer management software.
- Positive attitude with a passion for helping clients find the right insurance solutions.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
