General Orthopedics/Physical Therapy Practice is seeking a Licensed Orthopedic Surgeon to provide medical evaluations and treatment for adult patients, in an Outpatient General Ortho Practice. The Ortho will use their expertise in primary care and family health to provide high quality health care and medical education to patients and collaborate with a highly skilled team of Clinician's to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction. The Position is available as a "Float" between our in the Richmond and Midlothian, MD locations. This is a part time position and the pay is $250 per hour.
Some Responsibilities -
- OS will work with a diverse mix of patients, including insured, workman's comp and personal injury.
- OS will Instruct patients and families regarding treatment plans and medications.
- Perform physical examinations, compile medical data/histories and implement treatment plans on new and existing patients.
- Monitor patients and administer medications according to Clinics policies.
- Work closely with Staff Clinicians, and other clinic support personnel.
- Provide follow-up care to patients according to Clinics policies.
Some Requirements -
- Must be licensed or in the process of being licensed by the Board of Medicine, in the State of Practice.
- Be able to provide treatment 2 days, 8 - 12 hours per week between our Richmond and Midlothian clinic locations. (Schedule is based on your availability)
