We are looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead commercial and industrial electrical construction projects throughout North Carolina, including the Charlotte, Raleigh, and Greensboro markets.
This role is responsible for providing field leadership, supervising crews, coordinating manpower and materials, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial or industrial electrical construction experience, previous leadership experience as an Electrical Superintendent or Senior Foreman, and a strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, OSHA requirements, field coordination, electrical drawings, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities
The Electrical Superintendent will lead daily field operations on commercial and industrial electrical construction projects throughout North Carolina.
This position will supervise Foremen, Electricians, Apprentices, and subcontractors while helping ensure crews are productive, safe, organized, and aligned with project goals.
The Electrical Superintendent will coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, tools, schedules, deliveries, field logistics, and project timelines to support efficient jobsite execution.
This role will enforce OSHA standards, company safety policies, NEC requirements, quality standards, and project-specific safety expectations.
The Electrical Superintendent will review drawings, specifications, project documents, and installation requirements to maintain quality, accuracy, productivity, and code compliance.
This position will partner closely with Project Managers to resolve field issues, communicate project status, support schedule updates, identify potential delays, and help keep projects moving forward.
The Electrical Superintendent will build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, inspectors, trade partners, subcontractors, project managers, and internal field teams.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have at least 7 years of commercial or industrial electrical construction experience.
Previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent, Senior Foreman, General Foreman, Lead Electrician, or similar field leadership role is required.
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and electrical construction standards is required.
Candidates must have proven leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and field coordination skills.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Candidates must be able to travel regularly throughout the Charlotte, Raleigh, and Greensboro markets and other project locations across North Carolina as needed.
Additional Skills and Transferable Experience
Strong candidates may bring transferable experience in commercial electrical construction, industrial electrical construction, electrical field supervision, crew leadership, project coordination, electrical installation, construction scheduling, manpower planning, material coordination, subcontractor coordination, safety enforcement, quality assurance, quality control, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout.
Candidates may also have experience with electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, layout, conduit bending, EMT, rigid conduit, feeders, panels, switchgear, transformers, lighting controls, grounding and bonding, branch circuits, power distribution, temporary power, fire alarm coordination, low-voltage coordination, equipment rooms, electrical rooms, utility coordination, commissioning support, and field troubleshooting.
Additional relevant experience may include working with Project Managers, General Contractors, inspectors, owners, engineers, architects, trade partners, vendors, apprentices, journeyman electricians, foremen, and subcontractor teams to keep projects safe, productive, and on schedule.
