Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care and efficiency
- Maintain floors through specialized care techniques like carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and stain removal to preserve their appearance and longevity
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally, ensuring their satisfaction with the cleanliness and ambiance of their space
- Follow proper sanitation procedures for kitchens and bathrooms, including disinfecting high-touch areas to promote health and safety
- Handle custodial responsibilities such as restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and maintaining cleaning equipment in excellent condition
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when required, including scheduling cleaning routines and coordinating with other team members for seamless operations
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments, including janitorial or custodial roles
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining hygienic spaces
- Skilled in various cleaning techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and surface disinfection
- Ability to perform cooking-related tasks or assist with light meal preparation when needed
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters positive interactions with clients
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality settings is a plus
- Familiarity with housekeeping management tools or systems for organizing tasks efficiently
