Pay Rate: $27.00 – $29.00/hour

Position Overview:
Crown Staffing is currently hiring qualified and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time positions at Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville, KY. This is an excellent opportunity to support adult psychiatric patients in a structured and rewarding healthcare environment.
Schedule:
- Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (12-hour day shift)
- Status: Full-Time
- Rotation: Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care to adult psychiatric patients, including assistance with:
- Bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Personal hygiene and mobility
- Dispense and document medications according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor patient behavior and physical condition; accurately document findings
- Take and record vital signs as part of routine care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the care team to ensure effective treatment plans
- Work in various hospital units as assigned by nursing leadership
Qualifications:
- Active LPN license in the state of Kentucky or a valid compact state license with multistate privileges
- Must be able to provide a nursing school diploma and/or official transcript
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Comfortable working in a psychiatric care setting
- Clean background check required
Professional Standards:
- Must maintain a professional appearance
- Fingernails no longer than 1/4 inch
- Minimal jewelry; facial piercings must be removed
- OSHA-compliant training provided on-site
