Innovation Academy Charter School has an opening for a Student Services Inclusion aide for the 2026/2027 school year. Situated in Tyngsboro, MA (near the intersection of routes 3 and 495), IACS draws a diverse student body from neighboring districts, including Lowell, Dracut, and Chelmsford, as well as Tyngsboro. JOB SUMMARYParaprofessionals have an important role in the success of students requiring additional support in the classroom. Paraprofessionals respond to student need, including but not limited due implementing classroom norms, reteaching and proctoring small group testing.Paraprofessionals should be able to follow the direction of the classroom teacher or special education teacher and demonstrate flexibility in response to schedule changes due to student need.
Aides are not expected to complete IACS-related work beyond their contracted hours. Aides are supervised by the Student Services Director.IACS school hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00-3:00pm. Wednesday school hours are 8:00- 1:00pm.We provide a mentoring program for staff new to the schools.
