Phillips Staffing is seeking a 1st shift Painter/Finisher to join the team at company in Fountain Inn that specializes in retail interior décor including the design, manufacturing, and installation!
Responsibilities:
- Apply latex or lacquer-based coatings to various substrates. Use and maintain airless paint equipment and cup-type spray guns.
- Maintain material workflow in a productive manner. Complete tasks in a timely manner with attention to quality and detail.
- Stay on feet throughout the day with general pushing, pulling, lifting, and bending required.
- Spray lacquers, stain, and paint.
- Knowledge of wood products and finish.
- Keep Work Orders together.
- Use variety of hand tools.
- Perform maintenance on spray equipment and keep finishing products in inventory.
- Turn in time sheets daily with correct Work Order numbers, time per job, and material used per job.
- Keep safe and clean work area.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience in finishing wood products.
- Previous experience in industrial painting
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to keep a clean work station
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Shift Schedule: 1st Shift- 10 hour shifts Monday-Thursday starting at either 6 or 7 a.m. The schedule on Fridays varies, but is typically shorter if scheduled to work.
Pay Rate: $18.00-$22.00/Hour DOE
