Food Service Server / Cafeteria Server
Busche Academy is a private coeducational boarding and day school grades 6-12 and post grads in Chester, New Hampshire, offering a pre-college, multicultural education to a diverse student body hailing from all corners of the world.
We are searching for organized, energetic kitchen staff to join the Busche Academy Kitchen team.
Position is Part Time Saturday Afternoon/Evening
Saturday
Shifts is 4pm to 7.15pm
We are closed during the summer for School Vacation.
Starting rate is $20 an hour
Job Duties:
- Sets up food service areas and serves hot and cold food.
- Able to multitask at all times,
- occasionally assists in the preparation Salad Bar and Dessert set up.
- Utilizes kitchenware and serving utensils such as, but not limited to, knives, spatulas, tongs, spoons, and ladles.
- Practices safe food handling according to state and federal law.
- Assists in the monitoring, reduction, and management of food waste.
- Performs daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of the service areas, and equipment such as counters, tables, refrigerators, floors, Etc.
- Labels, and stores food and supplies according to standards.
- Must enjoy working with Teenagers and adults.
- Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises, including emptying trash cans, cleaning drink machines, and cleaning any spills and broken items immediately
- Assist Dishwashers as needed, especially during peak hours
- Report any serious incidents to management.
- Other duties as requested
This Job Is:
