Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal across multiple areas such as offices, restrooms, lobbies, and hallways
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, polishers, and carpet cleaners to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Conduct detailed floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to preserve flooring integrity and appearance
- Maintain janitorial supplies inventory; restock cleaning stations as needed to ensure continuous service
- Follow health and safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for everyone
- Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial or specialized cleaning projects when required
- Support facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate teams
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly preferred; custodial experience is a strong plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and equipment operation
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Basic understanding of facilities maintenance practices; experience with residential painting or porter duties is advantageous
