The heart of who we are
We are an integrative, patient-centered clinic that treats humans before diseases. We measure success by how patients feel when they walk in and how they feel when they leave — not by how many we move through the door. We choose quality over quantity, every time, and patient trust and long-term wellbeing are our first priorities.
Nutrition is not a side service in our practice — it is central to how we heal. Food, lifestyle, and the body’s own capacity to recover are at the core of whole-person care. As our nutritionist, you’ll help patients change their lives, not just their meal plans, and you’ll do it with the warmth, patience, and respect every patient deserves.
A truly holistic approach
This is a holistic, integrative practice, and nutrition is where so much of that philosophy comes to life. We’re looking for someone who sees food as medicine and who treats the whole person — their body, mind, habits, culture, stress, sleep, and story — not a number on a chart. You should be comfortable working alongside complementary and alternative modalities, counseling patients on functional and lifestyle approaches, and helping them weave nutrition into one integrated, whole-person plan of care.
Who we’re looking for
If this sounds like you, we’d love to meet you:
- You lead with compassion, empathy, and kindness, and you meet patients where they are — never with judgment about their bodies, habits, or past.
- You believe in food as medicine and take a whole-person, root-cause view of health.
- You’re open to integrative and complementary approaches and can counsel patients on them thoughtfully.
- You’re a warm, motivating communicator who helps people make changes that actually last.
- You collaborate well with physicians and clinical staff, and you’re meticulous about documentation and patient privacy.
- You want to keep learning and growing with a team that shares your philosophy.
What you’ll do
As part of our integrative care team, you’ll:
- Assess each patient’s whole picture — health history, labs, lifestyle, preferences, and goals — and build personalized, realistic nutrition plans.
- Counsel and coach patients one-on-one on nutrition, lifestyle, and behavior change, with warmth and without judgment.
- Support chronic and complex conditions — such as diabetes and metabolic health, cardiovascular and weight concerns, digestive health, and nutrition for patients in PrEP and HIV care.
- Integrate nutrition into whole-person plans, coordinating closely with the Supervising Physician, PA, and wellness team.
- Educate and inspire — develop handouts, group classes, or workshops that make healthy living approachable and sustainable.
- Follow up and stay close to patients, tracking progress, celebrating wins, and adjusting plans as life changes.
- Document promptly and accurately in the EHR, keeping records complete, current, and HIPAA-compliant.
Qualifications
- Required: Active Florida license to practice as a Dietitian/Nutritionist, in good standing.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration is preferred.
- Comfort with integrative, functional, and holistic nutrition and the ability to counsel patients on these approaches.
- Strong people skills, sound clinical judgment, and current continuing education.
- Comfort with EHR documentation; familiarity with Athena One is a plus.
Experience in integrative, functional, or clinical nutrition is a plus, but the right mindset and heart matter most. If you’re earlier in your career but share our philosophy, we encourage you to apply.
The setting
You’ll join a supportive, drama-free team in a calm, healing environment where patients — and the people who care for them — come first. You’ll have the time and the freedom to do nutrition the way it should be done: unhurried, personal, and rooted in real relationships.
How to apply
Send your résumé along with a short note telling us what whole-person, holistic nutrition means to you. That note tells us more about fit than a résumé ever could.
