Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Structural Engineer with at least 5 years of experience to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and optimizing structural designs for a variety of construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that structures are safe, efficient, and compliant with all relevant building codes and regulations. Duties
- Develop comprehensive structural designs.
- Conduct detailed structural analysis utilizing structural analysis tools.
- Perform building code compliance assessments and building code analysis to ensure all designs meet local regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop project schedules, manage deadlines, and coordinate project engineering activities from conception through completion.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications through precise technical writing to support design decisions and project proposals.
- Engage in construction site visits to monitor progress, verify adherence to design specifications, and address any structural issues that arise during construction.
- Apply geotechnical engineering principles and civil engineering practices to assess foundation stability, soil conditions, and system design requirements for diverse structures including steel, concrete, masonry, and other materials.
Skills
- Proficiency in structural engineering practices with hands-on experience in developing structural designs for various materials such as steel, concrete, masonry, and system components.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction regulations, and industry standards ensuring all projects are compliant with legal requirements.
- Skilled in project scheduling techniques to effectively plan resources and meet project milestones while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent client communication skills to clearly present technical concepts and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience with construction experience including site inspections, safety protocols, and quality assurance processes.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings accurately through drafting skills; capable of producing detailed plans that align with design intent.
- Knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) tools for integrated project delivery across disciplines.
- Strong understanding of system design principles applicable to infrastructure projects involving civil systems or utilities.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
