Part-Time Mental Health Therapist (1099 Contractor)

Tree of Life Therapy & Self-Care is a growing private behavioral health practice dedicated to helping individuals become the best version of themselves. Through empowerment, self-care, and evidence-based treatment, we support children, individuals, families, and couples on their mental-health journey.
We are currently seeking a part-time mental health therapist (1099 contractor) to join our team.
Position Overview
- Part-time, contract (1099) position
- Flexible schedule — set your own hours
- Combination of in-office and telehealth services
- In-person availability required at least one day per week
- Office location: Parma / Seven Hills, Ohio
- Expected hours: 2–20 hours per week
Please do not apply if you are unable to work in person at least one day per week.
Licensure Requirements
- Active Ohio license or associate license required
- LPC, LPCC, LISW, LSW, LMFT, or equivalent
- Clean background check required
- Must be comfortable working with children
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health assessments and evaluations
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
- Provide psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and counseling using individual, family, conjoint, and group modalities
- Educate and collaborate with families as appropriate
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Uphold confidentiality and comply with all ethical, professional, and regulatory standards

Compensation & Benefits
- $36–$52 per hour, based on experience and licensure
