ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
A growing consumer lifestyle brand is seeking a highly creative and conversion-focused digital experience leader to help shape and optimize its global ecommerce customer journey.
This confidential opportunity is ideal for a strategic yet hands-on operator who thrives at the intersection of UX/UI, ecommerce performance, merchandising, customer behavior, and AI-enabled digital experiences. The role will serve as a key bridge between Creative, Marketing, Product, and Ecommerce teams to drive measurable improvements in customer engagement, discoverability, and conversion.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in elevating the brand’s digital storefronts while helping modernize the customer experience across emerging commerce platforms and technologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Experience & Site Optimization
- Lead front-end ecommerce experience strategy across homepage, navigation, collection pages, landing pages, PDPs, and cart experience
- Optimize site layouts, user flows, and merchandising experiences to improve conversion and reduce friction
- Develop and execute digital experiences aligned with promotional, seasonal, and brand priorities
- Enhance customer journeys through data-informed UX and merchandising decisions
Product & Content Experience
- Build and optimize product detail pages and digital storytelling experiences
- Partner cross-functionally on content strategy, visual assets, video integration, and conversion-focused messaging
- Support SEO and content optimization initiatives across digital platforms
Testing, Analytics & Performance
- Lead A/B testing and customer experience optimization initiatives
- Utilize analytics, behavioral insights, and testing methodologies to improve site performance
- Monitor emerging ecommerce and UX trends to maintain a best-in-class digital experience
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and workflows to accelerate design iteration, optimization, and experimentation
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with ecommerce, marketing, merchandising, retention, and creative teams
- Translate commercial priorities into compelling digital customer experiences
- Ensure consistency across all consumer-facing digital touchpoints and emerging commerce surfaces
IDEAL BACKGROUND
- 5–7+ years of experience in UX/UI, ecommerce experience design, digital merchandising, or related ecommerce functions
- Strong experience within DTC, retail ecommerce, or consumer products environments
- Demonstrated success improving conversion, engagement, and customer experience metrics
- Hands-on experience with Shopify and ecommerce optimization tools
- Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, responsive design, mobile-first experiences, and testing methodologies
- Experience working with analytics platforms such as GA4 and UX testing/heatmapping tools
- Familiarity with AI-enabled ecommerce tools, personalization platforms, and digital workflow technologies strongly preferred
