We are a small, family-owned and operated hauling/junk removal business. We’ve been servicing the Portland Metro Area for over 19 years. Our business grows every month, so we’re looking for someone for a part time position with flexible hours between 9am-5pm. This position can grow into fulltime.
We're currently looking for a new addition to our Vancouver, WA crew.
Job Description: Using company box trucks, you would meet up with another team member, receive your customer list (Commonly sent the evening before) and drive to designated locations to remove “Junk” from the property. The majority of our work is apartment cleanouts. You would need to meticulously follow the day’s schedule, take notations and pictures of the items being removed, and relay information to other team members.
The ideal person for this position:
· Has a flexible schedule and availability to add support to shifts with day before notice.
· Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Has experience driving large vehicles and a good driving record
· Has experience moving furniture
· Is able to safely lift large and heavy objects/furniture for extended periods of time
· Has good communication and writing skills
· Work 2-4 days/week - Monday through Friday. Overtime paid at 1.5x. Overtime opportunities are frequent.
Requirements include:
· Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs or more
· Punctuality
· Strong attention to detail
· Good customer service
· Phone with a camera
· Positive attitude
Starting wage is $25/hr. Compensation is reviewed again after 90 days.
Benefits for exceptional team members will be reviewed at 180 days. Benefits can be catered to team member's personal priorities.
