Overview
Absolute Energy Services is seeking hardworking, safety-minded Roustabout Hands to join our growing team. This position performs general oilfield maintenance, construction, and repair work at production facilities throughout the Permian Basin. The ideal candidate is dependable, willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and committed to maintaining the highest safety standards.
This is a physically demanding position with opportunities for advancement for employees who demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on well sites, tank batteries, and production facilities.
- Install and replace valves, piping, fittings, and production equipment.
- Assist with pressure washing, site cleanup, and general housekeeping.
- Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic oilfield equipment safely.
- Assist equipment operators, crane operators, and foremen as needed.
- Perform basic construction tasks including digging, lifting, assembling, and installing equipment.
- Follow all customer safety requirements, company policies, and JSA procedures.
- Inspect tools and equipment before use and report damaged equipment.
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment in a clean and professional manner.
- Work extended hours and overtime as business needs require.
Qualifications
- Oilfield experience preferred, but motivated entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Comfortable working outdoors in extreme heat, cold, wind, and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, kneel, crawl, and perform physically demanding labor.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift experience
- Telehandler or skid steer experience
- H2S Certification
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- Basin United or Safeland certification

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
