Job Summary

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Spoton
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in sales transactions processing
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage reservations using OpenTable or similar platforms; coordinate seating arrangements for optimal flow
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, including wine knowledge and spirits experience to answer guest questions confidently
- Uphold food safety standards and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe dining environment for all guests
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting, preferably with fine dining exposure
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Spoton or Toast; experience with POS systems is highly valued
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Experience in beverage service, including cocktail mixing and spirits knowledge; bartending or cocktail experience is a plus
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with cash handling, cashiering, and processing sales transactions accurately
- Background in hospitality or the food industry that demonstrates a passion for guest relations and service excellence
